1. Bookings & Cancellations
| 1.1 | Due to demand, we are unable to take provisional bookings - all bookings are treated as confirmed bookings. We are unable to do ‘booking reminders’. |
| 1.2 | First time customers will need to pay the full fee for their first booking - whether a single session, double session or block booking - in advance, at the time of booking. Customers who have not been to Panic for over 3 months will also need to follow this procedure. (NB: first time record labels, management companies etc. who wish to book time for a band or artist on an invoice basis need to arrange payment terms in advance.) |
| 1.3 | Customers wishing to book more than a single session, in any one day, need to pay half the fee in advance, at the time of booking. |
| 1.4 | For customers who wish to cancel or move a booking, at least 48 hours notice is required for single session bookings; at least 72 hours notice is required for double session bookings. If a session is cancelled with less than the required notice, the full fee for the session will need to be charged. |
| 1.5 | Bookings cannot be changed or moved without the required notice and within the chargeable cancellation period. For example, a double session cannot be changed to a single session, even though half has been paid upfront, if there is less than 72 hours notice. |
| 1.6 | Once a session has been cancelled, the cancellation is not reversible, whether or not a charge has been incurred. Panic reserves the right to offer the session to other customers who need it. |
| 1.7 | All bookings made within the cancellation notice period need to be paid for in full at the time of booking, i.e. if there is less than 48 hours before a single session and less than 72 hours before a double session. |
| 1.8 | Customers who do not turn up for a booked session (where the session has not been paid for in full, in advance) will need to clear the relevant cancellation charge in advance of any further bookings being made. It is not possible to settle the outstanding amount at the next session. |
| 1.9 | Customers who have an outstanding cancellation charge may have any further booked sessions taken out of the diary until the outstanding amount is cleared. |
| 1.10 | Panic does not offer credit services of any kind (except for in the case of invoice customers). All sessions need to be paid for either in advance, where necessary, or at the end of the session, unless alternative arrangements have been directly agreed with Mark Roberts. |
2. Rooms & Equipment
| 2.1 | Each room comes with full backline as standard: 2 Guitar Amps & Cabs; 1 Bass Amp & Cab; Vocal PA; 3 Mics with stands; Drum Kit (excluding cymbals). |
| 2.2 | The equipment specs for each room may vary from time to time, without notice. If you require specific equipment, or additional equipment, please check availability at the time of booking. |
| 2.3 | Panic’s equipment and rooms are regularly safety-checked; however customers agree to use Panic’s equipment at their own risk. Customers bringing their own equipment into the studio do so at their own risk. Customers must ask a Panic staff member for help if they are unsure of anything or have any set-up or compatibility issues. |
| 2.4 | Customers need to pay attention to the equipment notices in each room. Customers who deliberately misuse or are negligent towards Panic’s equipment, resulting in equipment damage, may be liable for repair/replacement costs. |
| 2.5 | Customers cannot reconfigure the equipment in the rooms without prior consent from Panic staff. |
3. Age Policy
| 3.1 | Panic implements an ‘over-16’s’ policy. Younger customers will need to be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be required. |
| 3.2 | Children are brought onto the premises at their parents/guardians risk and must be directly supervised at all times by a parent/guardian. It is not the responsibility of Panic staff to supervise any children on the premises. Children cannot be left unaccompanied at any time. |
4. Filming & Photography
| 4.1 | Special rates apply for any professional filming and/or photo shoots at Panic. Arrangements need to be made, in advance, with Mark Roberts. |
5. Car Parking
| 5.1 | There is free car parking available in front and alongside one section of the building. Customers need to check with staff if they are unsure of where they can park. Panic takes no responsibility for any tickets/clamping/towing as a result of cars being parked in restricted areas. |
| 5.2 | Vehicles are left entirely at their owner’s risk. |
6. General
| 6.1 | Panic does not take any responsibility for personal possessions brought onto the premises. |
| 6.2 | (i) Visitors (other than bands/artists booked in) need to sign in and out in the Visitors Book.
(ii) There can be no more than 5 visitors in any room, at any time. |
| 6.3 | Customers are responsible for providing accurate information to Panic staff, regarding who is on the premises with them, in the case of any emergency situation. |
| 6.4 | It is the customers responsibility to familiarise themselves with all clearly marked fire/emergency exits. |
| 6.5 | Customers who have any special requirements with regards to access into the building,
and/or with regards to the facilities within the building, need to liaise with Panic staff prior
to their session. Panic will endeavour to meet these needs. |
| 6.6 | Panic reserves the right to change or amend these Terms & Conditions without notice. |
| 6.7 | Bookings are taken on the understanding that customers are familiar with, and accept, the above Terms & Conditions. |
